Loraine is a self-employed independent stylist, and not an employee of RU&CO. Your sales agreement for services with Loraine is with her, not with RU&CO.
Previously the owner of Loaf Hair, which has now become RU&CO, Loraine’s hairdressing journey began right out of school in 1972 as a salon “Saturday girl”. Why? “Because I loved the feel of hair!”
Loraine learned the art of hairdressing in one of London’s West End salons, while going on “day release” to course at City & Guilds. After training, Loraine worked in Germany for a while before returning to London and eventually landing on the other side of the planet to take Christchurch by storm!
To this day, there is not much that Loraine doesn’t love about hairdressing: “It’s the people. I love looking after their hair so it looks the best for them every day… And having the right colour that compliments their skin tone and age.”
“Helping people look after their hair by giving them tips. I also love hearing about their journey through life and travels.”
Loraine listens (and she talks too!)… “If you listen closely enough, your client will tell you what they want, and sometimes it’s not what the client says it’s what they don’t say!”
Loraine is RU&CO‘s undisputed curly hair queen. Cutting and colouring curls is her specialty!
True to type, Loraine has three home hair care pro tips:
