Sam’s hairdressing career started when she was 16 years old with an apprenticeship at Weltech in Alice Town, Lower Hutt for 1 year before moving to the Wairarapa for a year or so. After that, Sam moved to Wellington and into a salon called Shape Hair Design, completing a further 4 years in-house training, staying there for a total of 8 years.
Sam loves everything about hairdressing! “I love transforming the way people feel, love to educate my clients but also be the person they can genuinely trust with there hair needs.” she says.
Home hair care pro tip: Use good quality products and do treatments at least once a week even if you have non chemically treated hair (this will help give you your best looking hair, reduce split ends and give you options if you do have plans to Chemically treat you hair)
